Terms of Service

Last updated: 8/18/2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Numo, Inc., doing business as Numo. By creating an account or using Numo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Numo is a personal budgeting and spending-planning tool. You enter your balance, income, bills, savings goals, and expenses, and Numo calculates a suggested daily spending number. Numo is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Numo. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using the service for unlawful purposes or fraud.
  • Attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Uploading malware, probing, scraping, or interfering with service security.
  • Infringing intellectual property or other rights.
  • Reverse engineering, circumventing limits, or reselling access.

Intellectual property

Numo owns all rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Numo for personal budgeting within the limits of your plan.

Payments, subscriptions and trials

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of Pro features. If you subscribe during the trial, billing begins after the trial ends unless you cancel earlier.

Payments, billing, tax, subscription management, cancellations, and refunds for paid plans are handled by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Please review Paddle's Buyer Terms for the terms that apply to your purchase.

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Upgrades, downgrades and cancellation

Upgrades to a higher plan take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period.

Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

Warranties and disclaimers

We do not guarantee that Numo will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages such as lost profits, data loss, or loss of goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, fraud, death, or personal injury).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Numo, Inc. against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or violation of these terms.

Changes to the service and terms

We may update these terms and the service from time to time. Material changes will be notified in advance where possible. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
